Beverley Glen Neighbourhood Information

Beverley Glen is a mixed-use area located in the Thornhill area of Vaughan near Toronto, Ontario. Beverley Glen is bounded to the south by Centre Street, in the west by Dufferin Street, Bathurst Street to the east, and Highway 407 to the north. 

Neighbouring communities are Thornhill Woods and Patterson to the north, Uplands to the east, Brownridge to the south, and Concord to the west. 

Beverley Glens southeast corner is dedicated to commercial spaces and large condo buildings, while the northwest has both light industry and the Concord/Thornhill Regional Park. 

The middle portion of Beverley Glen running from the southwest to the northeast is primarily residential.

Homes For Sale in Beverley Glen

The majority of residential properties in Beverley Glen are mid to large-sized single-family homes. 

There are also communities of townhomes and large condo buildings to the southeast, focused around the intersections of Beverley Glen Boulevard, New Westminster Drive, and Disera Drive.

Single-family residences are slightly larger in southwest Beverley Glen than elsewhere in the community. These large homes display a mix of traditional European stylistic elements. Chateau-esque rooflines and masonry, as well as an abundance of dormer and bay windows.

  • Oakhurst Park - Southcentral Beverley Glen. A large play area with a field and a trail running through it.

  • Ventura Park - Centrally located next to Ventura Park Public School. This park has tennis courts and two separate playgrounds. 
  • Benjamin Vaughan (Bathurst) District Park - Park of a large community-oriented complex, includes a well-developed ball field, track, playground, and more.
  • Worth Park - A smaller community park in the north, with a field, two playgrounds, and a basketball court. 

The crown jewel of Beverley Glen's park system is the Concord/Thornhill Regional Park. This large sporting complex includes four ball fields, three soccer fields, a large play area with a gazebo, and an adjacent dog park. 

The Benjamin Vaughan Complex is home to the Westmount Collegiate Institute, as well as the City Playhouse Theatre, Rosemont Community Centre, and Butternut Child Centre.

Schools in Beverley Glen are Wilshire Elementary School, Ventura Park Public School, and Westmount Collegiate Institute.
