The Concord Real Estate Market

Concord was originally a postal village, first established back in 1854. Today, it’s known mainly as an industrial area, centered around the CN MacMillan railway yard.

The residential areas of Concord are mainly located around the fringes in the northwest and south, on the way toward downtown Vaughan. The main area of detached residential properties can be found just south of Rutherford Road. More residential communities can be found nearby: Maple to the north, Woodbridge to the west and Thornhill to the east.

The biggest area of development of Concord real estate is the newer luxury developments located near to the VMC subway station and Highway 7. The subway station provides great access to both York University and into the downtown core of Toronto.

The stunning luxury Concord condos for sale feature highly appealing design features, state-of-the-art technology and incredible resident amenities. The views from some of the area’s newer high-rises are absolutely awe-inspiring. This is a true up and coming area for the discerning working professional.

The Concord Community Highlights:

Residents of the Concord community enjoy great access to some of the best shopping found anywhere in the city of Vaughan. The Village Shopping District and the adjacent Vaughan Mills are two popular shopping areas located in the northwest of the community. Vaughan Mills is among the largest shopping malls and Ontario and these two shopping areas feature a wonderful selection of big-box chain stores and restaurants.

Notably, Canada’s Wonderland is located just north of Concord.

While Concord does offer some superb amenities within its own borders, a big draw is great access to a number of major highways leading to Toronto or Barrie, among other places. Toronto International Airport also happens to be a mere 15 minute drive from Concord.
