Kleinburg is a small unincorporated town, just a short distance north of Toronto, and located between two branches of the Humber River.

Kleinburg is 25 minutes or 32 km from central Mississauga.
Islington Avenue runs through Kleinburg's central village, which is just east of Highway 27. Neighbouring communities include Woodbridge to the south, Maple to the east, and Nashville to the west, although Nashville is often considered as part of Kleinburg. The area north of Kleinburg is heavily wooded, before giving way to farmland.
