I grew up right here in Toronto. Born right downtown at St. Michael’s Hospital. Hello I’m nominating Ariana from flesh tattoos Woodbridge at 93 Woodbridge ave because despite being closed for 10 out the 20 months due to Covid closures she continued to make sure she kept her promises to supporting the local charitable organization like the toy drive with yrp and vaughan food bank through the holidays now. Ariana also has a charitable initiative called do something for nothing where she helps those in need who have suffered through traumatic experiences in their lives ie: breast cancer survivors, self harm or formally household abused cover their scars with her tattoos to bring them back to beautiful safe space in their lives. Beautiful soul always searching for ways to help someone who is looking for that lending hand. Thank you!

Ida-Maria is a 14 year old student who suffers from Generalized Anxiety Disorder since she was 2 years old. Music and the Arts have Bern her saving grace and last year she launched her Non for Profit Organization called Youth2Youth and has created free workshops for girls ages 8 to 14 to come together in a safe space where Ida-Maria shares her personal story and hopes to give hope and support to many others who might be going through similar situations while using music and dance as a therapy. Her mission is to add mental health curriculum in the schools. Ida-Maria is also Miss Teen Yprk Region and this Christmas Ida-Maria wants to raise money for Vaughan Food Bank. $1000 will help her launch her challenge to many business to donate and match the $1000 to the Vaughan Food Bank this Christmas. My mom is deserving of this gift because she took a very hard fall at home last year and has been suffering the effects of the fall for a year now. She has been relentlessly helping my sister (who moved in with my mom) who just had twins, and all in the meanwhile, takes care of my dad, and makes sure that myself and my brother are mentally well and fed…even though we’re adults! My mom is the most deserving person I know….she always does things for us even when we don’t want her to.
